| so many things to say.
fall has been so magnificent..... every day a reminder of all the Beauty. now a cold front is coming, but so it should be.
yesterday i had the most amazing bailey's chocolate chip cheesecake. it somehow made me miss a whole myriad of people and places and times. in a very fond sort of way, that is.
i wish you all days seen in color.
| and thus enters fall with all of its poignancy; honey-covered sorrow and sun's final glows escaping cracks between fingers- but not without warming them first. the leaves are beautiful and the air is crisp, and when it's raining all is reverent.... but still i ache to be somewherelse.... wherever that might be.
and how i have missed.... missed so much in these past days.... missed things that have been, things to which the return path has been not destroyed but completely washed away so that you ask yourself if you were ever there at all.... but you were, you WERE, and the things that were received there must be held on to with everything in us.
"it's raining in baltimore, baby, but everything else is the same"
| "deliver me out of the sadness
deliver me from all of the madness
deliver me, Courage to guide me
deliver me, your Strength inside me.
all of my life i've been in hiding
wishing there was someone just like you
now that you're here... i know that you're the One to pull me through."

| and so summer days are coming to their wistful end.
but not without whirlwind thoughts, warm sea water, long car rides, lots of ramen, and, best of all, a good dose of my dear friend jess.
cheers to you all in these days quickly fading out of reach. carry on.
